Who it's for.
Electricians, roofers, linemen, landscapers, framers, farmers, mechanics, site supervisors. Men whose day starts before the sun and ends with grease in the creases of their hands.
Most of them have never bought skincare. They wash their face with bar soap, put farm-store salve on their knuckles, and tried a partner's lotion once, right up until the hammer slid out of their grip.
We make Holworth for that man. And for whoever buys him presents, because he isn't going to buy this himself.
Why fragrance-free.
A job site is close quarters. Nobody wants to smell like a department store on a scaffold, and plenty of men skip skincare for that reason alone.
So no Holworth formula has added fragrance, and none has a masking scent covering up something else. Up close, the Repair Balm smells a little like beeswax, because there is beeswax in it. That's it.
It also means one less thing going onto skin that is already rough from wind and sun.
Why three products.
Wash, repair, protect. Face Wash takes off a day of dust, grease and sweat at night. Repair Balm goes on the knuckles and fingertips that split. Daily Defense, a moisturizer with mineral SPF 30, goes on before you head out.
That is the whole routine, and it takes about two minutes. We could sell you nine steps. You wouldn't do them, and we wouldn't either.
The four add-ons (Face Wipes, Work Hand Scrub, Lip Balm SPF 15 and Shop Towels) are for the truck, the shop and the gift bag. They are not more steps. And there is no beard oil, pomade or cologne.
